Silgan Dispensing partners with Guerlain to launch the Longevity Concentrate
Guerlain set exceptionally high standards for the new Longevity Concentrate’s packaging: it needed to reflect the product’s value through its aesthetics, practicality, technical performance and ergonomics, while also supporting refilling and ensuring full compatibility with the formula.
Recently unveiled by Guerlain, the Longevity Concentrate serum from the Orchidée Impériale range is derived from the vital force of the Vanda coerulea orchid, concentrated in ORCHID LONGEVITY™ technology, now enhanced and encapsulated in billions of liposomes. The result of 20 years of research, this technology helps activate 10 cell longevity pathways for the first time.
Exceptional formula, exceptional packaging
For the development of this new packaging, the brand wanted a 30 ml refillable pump bottle designed like a watch case. Silgan Dispensing supported the design and development with its technical and aesthetic expertise.
The foremost requirement was compatibility with a complex formula containing many active ingredients.
Silgan’s SP34® pump, which had demonstrated its value in the Orchidée Impériale collection, garnered support for its durability and dependability, and met all compatibility standards, receiving unanimous approval. It features a bayonet attachment system that allows the consumer to detach the pump from the bottle to easily refill their product.
